I am committed to ethical story telling for wildlife conservation and education about wildlife and photography. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with our young future nature photographers and birders.

Grebe Conservation

For years Lake Hodges in San Diego, California has been home to hundreds of nesting grebes. Once a migratory visitor to the lake in the winter these birds have now taken up permanent residence. It is now an eco-destination for viewing the Grebes and their myriad of courtship behaviors. Please click Learn more button to read about the conservation program.

School Birding

In it's third year now, the (School) Back-yard birding program at Sundance Elementary School in Poway CA is a huge sucess!

This year I was thrilled to be able to design and add more posters, we are up to 28 now. Click on Learn more to read about the program.

Bald Eagle Tales

Since 2018 I have been documenting this young pair in San Diego. Click on Learn more to read the story.
