This is the ultimate Southern California Nature Photography tour. Join award winning professional photographer and the "Grebe Whisperer" Krisztina around San Diego Area to photograph the rushing Grebes & other wildlife, and stunning landscapes. This Workshop is timed for Grebes courtship season.

So you would like to photograph the rushing Grebes on the Lake? Come and head out on the lake with me as your guide in a comfortable, low to the water boat. Using a silent motor I will be able to get you closer to the wildlife without disturbing their natural behavior (ethical wildlife photography is always my number one priority). We can also do this from the shore if boats are not your thing :-). Available all year around, best time to see the Grebes is during rushing season which is September through March.

Grebes are fascinating birds. Their unique matting behavior called "rushing" is one of the most photographed animal behaviors and San Diego in sunny California is home to over 600 Grebes. Rushing is when Grebes "walk on water" to find a mate, and it only lasts 5-7 seconds. Knowing what to listen for and what to look for before rushing happens is the key to that perfect shot!

• Deposit and tour/workshop fees are non-refundable.

• If you cancel and the photo workshop or private outing is full and someone from the waiting list can take your spot, your tuition is fully refundable minus a 15% cancellation fee.
